We provide care and activities for all ages In our program Infant~12 years of age
Infant to 1 2 years of age
Our Infant curriculum starts with playtime including belly and music time. Exploration stimulation as well as nap and feedings times that will keep consistent with our daily schedule. All of our infant have their own personal cubby and crib. Our nursing room is equipped with toys, and infant items. Our diaper changing procedure is strictly adhered to toys, cribs, and changing stations are sanitized daily. We work with our infant on stretches, leg movements, to ensuring the children are practicing hand-eye coordination in order to prepare themselves for the next stages of childhood development.
Toddlers
Toddlers 1 to 2 years old
We make sure our toddlers have plenty of safe and great opportunities to explore have fun and engage the world around them.
Preschooles
Preschoolers 3 to 4 years old
Preschool education introduces preschoolers to more advanced subjects. Math, science, reading, art, and shared independent play
Primary
Primary 4 to 5 Years old
Primary education tends to focus on basic academic learning, vocational skills and socialization skills. Introducing children to the broad range of knowledge and much more.

Happy Smiles ChildCare is a typical day structure not strict, in having time for both developmentally apporopriate activities for all ages. A healthy balanced breakfast/meal is served every day before and healthy snack afterwards.

The Owner
Shonnie Hemingway Is the Owner of Happy Smiles Childcare She Is License Certified with DCFS. She is the founder of Happy Smiles ChildCare & Preschool sense 2014 She has study theology at Lincoln college for 1 year as well as been working with children over 12 years. She has work at the ball chatham elementary school as a student supervisor. She also study childcare for 3 years, long while working with children in several daycares. She loves what she do and maintain a spirit of excellence and love for positive youth development. She has 5 beautiful children a wonderful husband and 3 grandchildren that she love dearly. Shonnie wrote her first book in 2021, 'How To Find Purpose Behind Pain'
She continue to strive for her goals and pursue all that God has for her on this journey!
